About Sofia
Hi, I’m Sofia Rïsberg, PhD.
(formerly a historian — née Erica)
I’ve been communicating with animals for as long as I can remember. As a child, it felt natural — but like many intuitive children, I didn’t believe it was something I could carry into adulthood.
When I was ten, I intuitively knew I would become a doctor. I just didn’t want to cut anyone open — which is how I found my way to a PhD in History.
In 2009, after my father passed, I felt his soul scatter across the universe. That moment opened a profound spiritual journey — one I’ve been walking ever since.
In 2020, I received a quiet but persistent nudge to begin studying BodyTalk, a consciousness-based healing modality. After my second class, I experienced quantum entanglement with a dog more than 4,000 miles away — and something clicked. I geeked out.
I dove into further training, and soon after, animals began connecting with me again — clearly, unmistakably, and with purpose.
Today, I support animals (and their humans) through interspecies energy healing, helping restore balance, calm the nervous system, and deepen connection across species.
When I’m not working with animals, I love exploring nutrition, frequency-based devices, supplements, and ways to support the body so that consciousness can flow more freely through it.
A few fun facts about me:
I love baking, hiking, learning new things (most recently building a ceremonial drum), and deep, meaningful conversations — some of which you can hear on my podcast, All Things in the Name of Love.
A Note on My Podcast
For six years, I hosted a podcast called All Things in the Name of Love, where I spoke with people about their spiritual journeys, healing paths, and what it means to live with integrity, curiosity, and compassion.
While the podcast is currently resting, those conversations continue to inform how I listen, how I work, and how I hold space — for animals, humans, and the unseen connections between us.
